In my role as educator and presenter for AQ Group Solutions I am able to pass along my extensive knowledge in the area of financial planning, portfolio analytics, and current market conditions.

As a senior Financial Planning Advisor with Assante Capital Management Ltd., I have been providing Assante clients with precise investment direction and recommendations for over 18 years. My team ensures that our clients’ portfolios match their financial, tax and estate planning objectives through proven asset-allocation and diversification strategies. I work closely with our team’s financial planners to ensure that all investment portfolios integrate effectively with newly implemented or recently updated financial plans.   

I specialize in the unique needs of family-owned businesses.  I target compensation strategies, succession planning, purification techniques/utilizing Capital Gains Exemptions and undertake detailed analyses of shareholder agreements and corporate structures.

I believe that education is a life-long endeavour.  I hold a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute and am a Certified Financial Planner.

Being the father of three busy kids, my leisure time is spent volunteering with their many sporting activities.
